What's included in the session fee? We have multiple session options available that best fits your family. The session fee includes your session time, a private online gallery. Your private gallery will include a large variety of images from your session. Additional digital images are available for purchase, but no further purchase is required beyond the initial session fee.
Do I get copyright of my images? Clients do not receive the copyright to the images from a photography. Copyright pertains to the ownership and control of the photographs, while a print release is a document that grants clients the authorization to make prints or reproductions of the images for personal use, without transferring the copyright itself. A print release would specify the sessions to which it applies. The client is allowed to make prints of the photographs for personal use, such as displaying them in their home or sharing them with family and friends.
Can we get prints or albums of the photos? Yes! We offer "à la carte" which means that each item or service is individually priced and can be selected and paid for separately, as opposed to being part of a pre-set package or bundled deal.
Where will we take our photos? This is totally up to you! Some popular options include parks, beaches, gardens, or even your own home. Consider a location that holds meaning for your family.
What time of day is best for a family photoshoot? The ideal time for a photoshoot is often referred to as the "golden hour," which is the hour after sunrise or the hour before sunset. During this time, the lighting is softer and creates a warm, flattering glow.
Can we bring the dog? Sure thing! Pets are more than welcome to join your photography session. After all, they are a very important part of the family and should never be left out. ;)
